Tong Peal, a leading designer and manufacturer of handling and sorting equipment in the United Kingdom, has strengthened its sales division with the appointment of Charlie Rich and Carole Metcalfe and with the promotion of Simon Lee.

Simon Lee (41), who has been with the company for the past 7 years has been promoted to sales manager responsible for UK pack house.
Tong Peal, which employs 143 at its Spilsby headquarters and has a turnover over £10 million, created the new positions and promotions in response to continued growth and increasing worldwide sales.
The sales team will be responsible for Tong Engineering sales – incorporating UK farm and pack house and Tong Peal Recycling.

Charlie, who brings with him over 15 years of experience working with Tong equipment from Scotts and Burdens, and Carole will be based at Tong Peal’s main site in Spilsby, Lincolnshire.
